Lindsie Chrisley used to be on the hit show “Chrisley Knows Best.” Now she isn’t appearing, but she spoke out on her podcast about being adopted, which is something not many people know about her. On the most recent episode of Coffee Convos with Kail Lowry & Lindsie Chrisley she shared the news.

Lindsie said, “I am from my dad’s first marriage. So his last three kids are from my dad and his wife on the show. So my stepmom adopted me legally.” Most people didn’t realize that Julie wasn’t actually her mom and the two have always seemed to get along even though Lindsie does parent differently than Julie and Todd do.

She went on to explain more and said, “I kind of felt a sense of like I wanted to fit in. I kind of felt like an outcast. Even though they didn’t make me feel like that intentionally, I just felt that way. I just wanted to do whatever I could to make myself feel a part of. I always felt like something wasn’t whole.” It is great to hear that she doesn’t feel at all like they wanted her to feel that way, it was just something that happened naturally.
