Rory Feek Says He Isn’t Writing Music or Performing, Doesn’t Want To Do It Without Joey

It has been five months since Rory Feek’s wife Joey passed away. Things have been hard on Rory and he is now sharing that he hasn’t been doing any music writing since she passed away. Radio.com shared the details about what Rory Feek had to say.

Rory appears on “CBS Sunday Morning” this Sunday and that is when he will share an update on how some things are still hard for him. Rory did create a documentary for the couple, but he isn’t doing music. He shared the details.

“I don’t want to go on stage without her. That’s what I’m thinking about right now. I just don’t want to make music without her. But I also know time changes things. So I won’t say never. It’s just where I am today.”

Right now, Rory Feek still hasn’t picked out a headstone for his wife’s grave. It has been hard on him, but fans are hopeful that someday Rory Feek will decide to start writing music and performing again. Fans miss seeing him, but are excited to see that Rory is speaking out again.
