The exciting news is out and “Nashville” is confirmed to air Season 5 on CMT after originally being canceled by ABC. There was a lot of hope that everyone would return, but it has now confirmed by E! that two season regulars are not coming back to the show.

Will Chase and Audrey Peeples will not be coming back for Season 5. Will played the role of Luke Wheeler, and Audrey was in the role of Layla Grant. It seemed like both of their characters were pretty done anyway.

Honestly, I am really happy to know they are not returning. I loved Luke Wheeler, but Layla Grant was a character that never won me over. I can’t wait to see who else new they bring in to replace them.
