Rachel Bilson Leaving ‘Nashville’ for New Show

It turns out that Rachel Bilson is leaving “Nashville” and moving on to a new show. She just started the show last season. Us Weekly shared the details about her leaving the show. She played chief strategy officer Alyssa and at the end of Season 5 she planted a kiss on Deacon. It sounds like she was only meant to be there for one season and that is what they did with her character.

She was cast in the show “Take Two” and this show is with Eddie Cibrian. It is great to hear that Rachel found a new show so easily. She will play a character named Ella who used to be on television and is now fresh out of rehab. This will air next season.

Things on “Nashville” can go on just fine without Rachel Bilson, but it will shake things up a bit for them to stop being pushed to do so many ads and stuff with their careers. I know I can’t wait to see “Nashville” return to CMT in 2018.

Are you sad to hear that Rachel Bilson is leaving “Nashville”? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts, and don’t miss “Nashville” when it returns to CMT.
