So Much Fun At the Family Farm Day at The Cherokee Strip Regional Center in Enid, Oklahoma
Today I got a chance to take the girls to the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid, Oklahoma and check out the Family Farm Day. They had a blast! Until we showed up, I had no idea how much stuff they would have to do, and we were there for about two hours. This event is something we are going to have to make it to every year! When you first walk in, you pay to get into the museum and everything is included in this price. They had lots of snacks around such as samples of pickled okra and pickles, caramel apples and more! They also offered cornbread and beans for a donation if you wanted to each lunch at the event.
All over the outside area, they had little stations that you could make things and we had so much fun checking them all out. The girls were able to make yarn dolls, their own butter from heavy whipping cream, apple pies and more! It was obvious that the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center put a lot of work into this event.
I can’t wait to check this out again next year! They always have so many fun events at the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center and even offer field trips. Christmas in the Village is coming up on December 2 and should be a blast!
If you are ever looking for fun events, check out the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center and what events they have coming up. We have found a new place fo fun events in town! Thanks to Oklahoma City Kid’s Guide for making it possible for us to attend this event!
