Perfect Shows To Cure Your Saturday Night Boredom: What Is Worth Watching?

The older you get, the more you find yourself sitting at home on a Saturday night trying to find something to do. Now that this has started to be my life, I decided it was time to find some great shows and movies to watch on Saturday nights. This isn’t the typical night for new shows, but I have discovered a few great selections to choose from on Saturday.

Lifetime Movies – Every Saturday night Lifetime has a new movie on. A lot of them are great movies that are based on true stories. If they aren’t based on a true story, they are usually about someone killing someone, kidnapping them or meeting someone online that turns out to be crazy. Regardless, I always love them.

“Versailles” – This show is a new one that airs on Ovation TV every Saturday night. It premiered last week with a big two-hour premiere, and I loved it! “Versailles” is about how King Louis XIV of France commissions Versailles at the young age of 28. In the season premiere, it proved to me that this would be one of my new favorite shows. There is a lot of drama, cheating and of course, gorgeous scenery on this show.

“Saturday Night Live” – Of course, you never want to miss “Saturday Night Live.” My favorites are when a celebrity joins the show. Justin Timberlake is probably my favorite when he is on there. They have great jokes, but of course, you don’t want to miss the musical guest of the week either.

College Football – Right now there is usually a college football game on every Saturday night. This is not something I would choose to watch, but I know it is what most of my friends on Facebook are checking out every week.

“First Time Flippers” – When it comes to flipping a house, you have to start somewhere. The show “First Time Flippers” takes buyers that have never flipped a house and they try it out. Some do a great job and let’s just say things don’t always go well for some first-time flippers.

What do you enjoy watching on Saturday nights? Do you plan to check out any of these options now? Sound off in the comments section below on your thoughts.
