Anna went to her Facebook page to share the news with fans and the details of why they decided to have it taken off at this time.

“I know a few people will be mad, but we have made a decision on what to do with Kaitlyn’s thumb. We have decided to remove it because of school, and because we don’t know what it will do to her when she is older, and because of kids these days — of how mean they are, and they don’t care.”

Anna did share that they will be doing the surgery sometime in October. Everyone is hoping that Kaitlyn from “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” does just fine with the surgery. At this time, you can’t see the family on television, but you never know what will happen.
