Caitlyn Jenner Gets $5 Million for New Docu-Series

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition, has received $5 million from E! for a reality TV series called, “I am Cait.” According to The Province, “I am Cait” will premiere on July 26.

This deal is way more than what the network wanted to pay. However, Caitlyn Jenner’s agent started talking to other networks about the documentary reality TV series so E! jumped on it and handed over the cool $5 million to Caitlyn. This is the largest amount the network has dished out for a solo reality TV series.

The network first offered $2 million to Caitlyn for the documentary series but her agent countered them by talking to other networks. Just so they would get the documentary to air on their network, they forked all $5 million over to Caitlyn.

Although this is the largest sum the network has dished out for a solo reality TV series, they also just handed over $100 million to Kris Jenner for the renewed contract of “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s.” However, this $100 million given to Kris Jenner was paid to her because she manages her daughter’s and she will split the money between her and her daughter’s, Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian and daughter’s, Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Don’t miss “I am Cait” on July 26 on E!.
